A call is sized by answers of its own kind, and a peer that has measured itself is not calibrated. Windows services stop cleanly, and a stall cannot empty the stores that let you in. A relay that dies says what killed it, and a peer that is not ready says why. The installers say what happened, and a reinstall keeps what was there.
